Hatha Flow - Natalie Brophy

Hatha Yoga simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures (asanas). All the more modern styles of yoga, such as Ashtanga, Bikram, Vinyasa, Iyengar etc are all derived from Hatha Yoga.
The word itself can be translated into two ways: sun (ha) moon (tha), to balance the body/mind/spirit. Or ‘willful’ or ‘forceful’, the yoga of activity.

Natalie’s classes are usually focused around a physical theme, such as hip strengthening & opening or back bending/front body opening. Her sequences are intelligently sequenced, fun & dynamic and provide a balance between strength and flexibility.

Natalie spends time helping her students to explore their own unique alignment whilst encouraging a deeper somatic awareness. Breathe awareness and/or Pranayama is a key aspect of Natalie’s teaching alongside yoga philosophy, which she weaves through the class. Relaxation is also a highlight of Natalie’s classes, where she guides you through a deeply nourishing relaxation /yoga nidra to help activate the parasympathetic/rest & restore nervous system.

Encouraging her students to draw their awareness deep within, and to move with the breathe, you can expect to leave Natalie’s class feeling more connected to yourself, with a clearer and calmer mind, taller, stronger and deeply nourished.
